Comnto Terms of Service

Introduction

By using Comnto ('we', 'our', or 'us'), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms apply globally and govern your access and use of Comnto’s services, including all features, tools, and content provided.

Use of Service

Comnto provides a platform for hosting user-generated comments on websites and related interactive features.

Responsibility of Site Owners

Site owners are the individuals or entities who register for and manage a site using Comnto.

Site owners are fully responsible for all content posted on their site or submitted to Comnto through their site, including comments, uploaded media, and any other user-generated content.

Site owners must actively moderate all content using the tools provided, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and community standards.

Prohibited content includes copyrighted material without permission, child exploitation, illegal activity, content violating privacy or other rights, defamatory, obscene, violent, hateful, or discriminatory content.

Site owners are solely liable for any issues, damages, or claims arising from user-generated content on their site. Comnto is not responsible for any consequences of such content.

Comnto provides moderation tools, including reviewing, approving, or deleting user-generated content. Proper use of these tools is the responsibility of the site owner.

Usage Estimation and Billing

For billing purposes, Comnto estimates pageviews or service usage based on any interactions with the Service, including but not limited to embed script calls, comment fetches, and API requests.

Actual site traffic or raw pageviews may differ from estimated usage, and Comnto reserves the right to determine usage counts at its discretion to prevent misuse, abnormal activity, or billing errors.

By using the Service, you agree that billing may be based on these estimates, and Comnto shall not be liable for minor discrepancies between estimated usage and actual traffic.

Prohibited Content

You may not post, upload, or distribute content that violates copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.

Content that exploits or endangers children, is illegal, defamatory, obscene, violent, hateful, or discriminatory is strictly prohibited.

Content promoting terrorism, self-harm, or criminal activity is prohibited.

We may remove prohibited content at our discretion without notice, and repeat violations may result in account suspension or termination.

User Conduct

You are responsible for your own activity and interactions on sites using Comnto.

You must not attempt to bypass security measures, abuse APIs, interfere with Service operation, or harass other users.

Account Security

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their accounts and passwords.

All activity conducted under your account is your responsibility.

You must notify Comnto immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach related to your account.

Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of content you create, but by posting content on Comnto, you grant the site owner and Comnto a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and monetize the content in connection with the Service.

Comnto does not claim ownership of user content beyond the license required to operate the Service.

Subscriptions, Payments, and Refunds

Comnto offers free and paid plans. Free plans may display ads in comment sections.

Paid plans require upfront payment. Refunds are handled case-by-case. See our Refund Policy for full details. In summary, refunds may be considered for technical issues caused by our system, mistaken charges, or duplicate payments. Change of mind or partial usage is generally not refundable.

Liability Limitation

Comnto provides the Service 'as is' and without any warranties, express or implied. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, losses, or claims arising from your use of the Service under any circumstances, including but not limited to content posted by users, interruptions, errors, or security breaches.

Site owners and users are solely responsible for their use of the Service and any content they or their users post.

Comnto is not responsible for any actions, omissions, or content of site owners, users, or third parties.

If you do not accept these limitations of liability, you must not use the Service.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy governs the collection, use, and sharing of personal information.

By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted our Privacy Policy.

Termination

We may suspend, freeze, or terminate your account at our sole discretion if you violate these Terms or any prohibited content policies.

No refunds will be provided for any paid plans if your account is suspended or terminated due to non-compliance with these Terms.

You acknowledge that Comnto has full discretion to enforce these rules to maintain a safe and lawful environment.

Termination does not relieve you of responsibilities or liabilities accrued prior to termination.

We may modify these Terms at any time without prior notice.

Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
